About the Redline Sportscar Company Ltd
Jeremy Kearns founded The Redline Sportscars Ltd in 2001. He has used
his twenty plus years of Marcos knowledge and expertise to continue
selling Marcos and other sports and classic cars under the Redline
Sportscars company banner. He knows just about all of the Marcos cars
individually from the chassis up and is recognised as "the
person" to contact when either buying or selling a Marcos.
Most of the existing owners have bought or sold their cars through him,
many on more than one occasion. With a team of specialists at his finger
tips including David Chivers who was the production manager and service
manager at the Marcos factory, they are able to solve any imaginable
situation that may arise. They offer a friendly, personal and
comprehensive service.
Marcos Experience
Jeremy started work at the Marcos factory with Jem Marsh in 1989 and
actually sold two cars on his first day. During his time with Marcos he
was involved with the sale of new and used cars, press and TV marketing,
all the big exhibitions and shows, including the Goodwood Festival of
Speed, the International Motor Show, race track days and driver
training.
He travelled with the Marcos team to Le Mans in 1995 and got to know
many of the other racing teams and was with Marcos when they were the
British GT Championship winners in 1995, 1996 and 2000. He has had the
honour to do concourse judging at the annual rally for the Marcos owners
clubs on several occasions.
About Jeremy!
Jeremy's passionate affair with exotic sports cars began at an early age
when he developed a particular fascination for British classic and
sports cars. Over the years, Jeremy has owned and / or driven an amazing
list of classic sports cars and race cars including Aston Martin, Austin
Healey, Bentley, Ferrari, Ford GT 40, Invicta, Jaguar, Lotus, Mini
Cooper, MG, Morgan, Porsche, Triumph TR, TVR, and of course all of the
Marcos range.
His other loves are aeroplanes and fast sail boats in which he has
sailed in various national and world championships. He enjoys flying
light aircraft and achieved one of his greatest dreams, which was to fly
a second world war Supermarine Spitfire in 2003. It would not be an over
statement to say that he has a complete love of all overpowered forms of
transport !
